As we all known, capsules are one of the commonly used forms of medicine. The purpose of this campaign is to spread awareness of generic drugs.

A generic drug refers to a copy that is identical to the brand-name medicine in terms of dosage, safety, and strength, quality, performance, and intended use. The generic drug is slightly different from the original R&D drug. The generic drug only duplicates the molecular structure of the main components of the original R&D drug, and the addition of other components in the original R&D drug is different from that of the generic drug, so the two may have different therapeutic effects. The biggest benefit of generics is that they greatly reduce the price of the drug. Because they do not need to repeat animal and clinical studies on brand-name drugs to prove their safety and efficacy, the total cost is lower than brand-name drugs.

The scale of generic drugs is enormous. In the pharmaceutical market, the status of generic drugs is also increasing. In 2011, the global generic drug market has exceeded 130 billion US dollars. Originating from the Indian government's strong support for generic drugs, India is currently the largest exporter of generic drugs worldwide, with nearly 3,000 generic drugs companies producing 20% of the world's generic drugs and exporting them all over the world.
